Yoshihiro has released Version two of his Game Decrypter for PSP games that require firmware 5.55 and firmware 6.00 to run. This application allows you to patch the firmware 5.55 and firmware 6.00 eboots in order to run on custom firmware 5.50 GEN-A to B2. It allows you to also run 5.55 and 6.00 FW games on your ChickHEN R2 / Custom Firmware 5.03 GEN-A PSP-3000.
This latest version includes fixes so users should have less issues running certain newer games.

Tutorial on how to use:
What you need.
- Yoshihiro’s Game Decrypter
- UMDGen 4
Both available: here.
- The latest GEN firmware
Once you have all that ready, we can begin.
Step 1
Open up UMDGen. Click on open and find your ISO image. I recommend making another backup of the image before you edit.
Step 2
Go to File>File List>Export..
Save it as filelist.txt, in somewhere like your desktop.
Step 3
Under the Explorer view, you should see the folder structure of the image. Head into the PSP_GAME directory and then the SYSDIR directory by using the folder tree on the left or by double clicking in the main view.
Step 4
(Now is a good time to connect your PSP/MemStick - so go ahead and do that). You'll see a folder and a couple .BIN files. The one you need is EBOOT.BIN, so select it. . Right click and choose "Extract Selected..."
Save it to the root of your Memory Stick, by root I mean the very top of the stick - the same place you see the ISO, PSP, SEPLUGINS directories - but not in them.
Step 5
On your PSP, run the Decrypter from the Game menu.
It will ask you to press X when its ready, so you better do what it says.
The PSP will return to the XMB after it has finished it's business.
Step 6
Connect up your PSP to the computer again.
You should see a new folder called DECRYPTOR in the root of the MemStick. Inside you'll find the decrypted EBOOT.BIN. Move it to your desktop.
Step 7
Back in UMDGen.
Remember where you found the original EBOOT.BIN? If you're not there already - go there!
Right click the blank space and choose "Add>Existing File(s)..."
Locate the decrypted EBOOT.BIN which is hopefully on your desktop. Add the file.
It will ask if you want to replace the file, do it.
Step 8
Go to File>File List>Import... and find filelist.txt.
It will ask if you want to force file positions, choose yes.
Step 9
You are now ready to save the image. So choose save and save in the format you wish.
Before you try this on other games, delete the DECRYPTOR folder that was created and the EBOOT.BIN you extracted earlier on the memory stick.
JUST INCASE If your games don't work, try using the "Dummy Search" feature, as I have found in my experience has worked on an occasion. Try using different compression options too if the ISO fails.
