ok heres a few things to know, i am not going to tell u which is best coz i dnt know anymore...

1)DAX (the original psp god) made m33 he always was the first with updates, and always had a stable version (almost no errors) he has been going since the beginning, since 1.50fw lolz
many people consider this the best, but also many of those people have never used GEN or MHU for more than a day or 2. the latest is 5.00m33-6, this installs to flash0

2)MHU is under the hood m33, however the MHU team made it, for the v3/3000 psps, they used m33 source code, any built on it. in the early versions they actually called it 5.03m33-6, but this confused people... this version only runs in the RAM and wipes if the psp looses power. the latest for HEN is CFWe 3.6 which gives 5.03 MHU and 5.50 MHU is ONLY FOR FULLY HACKABLE PSPS.

3)now GEN is completely different, is was coded from scratch (although the recovery menu looks similar). It was made by the GEN team and they have several versions for different things. they have GEN-A for HEN which runs in RAM like CFWe 3.6 and they have 5.50 GEN-A (beta version, if u install this look for update 4) and 5.50 GEN-B full which run from flash, AND ARE ONLY FOR FULLY HACKABLE PSPs

thats enough of a history lession, so u can see which versions are for you.... the matter of which is best is debatable, because the early GENs had lots of errors (thats why its supposed to be a beta) and m33 has been around forever, but now m33 is loosing steam, thats where the MHU team took over, and made a version for HEN. MHU is new but good, m33 was always good, GEN built it up slowly but are now good too plus they have PSN store access. normally I'd say m33 really, but I'm wavering to GEN, not tried 5.50MHU
